Pop Levi - Skip Ghetto

Photo Cred: Rigmarole

Timeless Music. One of the most noble aims one can have when creating a recording or piece or music is to imbue it somehow with the quality of timelessness. This is timeless, though it was actually released in 2007. Pop Levi - Skip Ghetto

Le Principle - Keep Moving (Original Mix)

Class tune this one. Pure disco house funk in full effect. Vocal is classy not cheesy, the funk is relentless. Is sounds like a classic even though its recent. Chops, edits, filter sweeps and funky bass lines aplenty. Available here: Le Principle - The Music

Matias Aguayo - Rollerskate (Radio Edit)

Photo Cred: jovino

This will not be to everyone's taste but I love its quirkiness. The most catchy chorus I've heard in ages even though it may be completely meaningless! Weird backing vocals and edited vocal snippets overlay a heavily compressed beat. Thats about all there is to it.. the result makes me smile. Matias Aguayo - Rollerskate (Radio Edit)

Deadboy - U Cheated

Any excuse to post this photo!

No, U Cheated is here on merit. An example of how fewer elements can result in a groovier mix. There is an old skool vibe to the sounds and vocal editing. The beat changes and syncopates throughout keeping it interesting. Find it here: Deadboy - U Cheated

Double Post Bonanza!

That's right, two super quality tunes in one post. I honestly could fit about ten in with the amount of good new music I've heard recently. Anyway, both tracks were posted to Discobelle recently and clearly make the grade. They are quite suitable for the dance floor and would result in some odd shapes being thrown.

The XX - Shelter (Them Jeans Drum Edit)

Fantastic tune. Subtle and exquisite production. The sliding bassline and solid functional beat keep it grooving, while the vocals and guitar sections keep interest musically. A lovely lush organ sound at the beginning and unusualy pad sound give it a warm dark flavour.

Wavves - Mickey Mouse

Wavves - Mickey Mouse

This is a psychedelic rock track featuring heavily distorted guitars set back wide in the mix and a kind of drone loop of piano and distorted noise. It's steady rhythm keeps you groovin all the while though, and the distorted vocals are very catchy indeed. Sunshine music.
